TT Special - Warden Station Bus Terminal, Before and After (January 2025)

When i lived in Scarborough (for the 1st 21 years of my life), Warden was one of my go to subway stations. I have many fond memories coming in on the 102 bus to get subway and getting a snack from one of the shops. Their freshly baked goods were delicious and the smell permiated the building.

I've only used the Warden bus terminal a few times. Maybe I don't have as much attachment or as many memories as others. I do remember the narrow stairs and crowded platforms. The new bus terminal design looks like it will be much more comfortable and nicely weather protected, as well as accessible.

That Café on the Go had pizza that was way better than it had any right to be at it's price point... And the other bakery had absolutely huge muffins, they will definitely be missed...

Whoever built the original station should go to jail. But there’s still so many memories there and who can go to Warden station and not get a Jamaican beef patty. ❤ see you’re actually rebuilding it and accessibility will be a priority.

I used to go through Warden Station back in the 70,s and it looks like it has not changed one bit . Back the you could not use a transfer on any of the Buses , you had to Pay a second Fare to ride in Scarboro

Must have been early 70s. I lived in the area from 75 to 82 and it was not like that.
