At those speeds the guy didn't know what happened, he just woke up in the next life. Damn. You know they can't do this stuff in the US, too many animals, turkey's, cats, dogs, deer, coyotes. You name it. Somethings always wondering on interstates and getting hit by something. Mostly deer and armadillos lately.

Very very few spectators killed at the TT, since 1907 there have been two fatal crashes involving three spectators, one in 1939, and two in 2007. Anybody who tells you that dozens or hundreds of people are killed watching the TT don't know what they're talking about. Yes many people die, but not watching the races, they die riding their own bikes round the circuit when it's open to the public. You recognised the Moto GP clips where the spectators are kept far from the track, and not allowed in the paddock without a special pass, at the TT you're not only free to sit at the side of the track, you're also free to wander round the paddock and talk to the riders. The TT is only one of a road racing series that take place in Northern and Southern Ireland, the Isle of Man and England. All but the TT are massed starts, where you see the riders bunched together. At the TT they're started one at a time at 10sec intervals, and they're racing against the clock.

@DS-uy6jw bystander is someone who happened to be there but was not involved with the event as a spectator. I guess, like if I walked upon a parade that I didn't know was going on? Who the hell knows. Everyone defines things differently now a days, and people LOVE to jump in when you foul up.

Great reaction. With the talking thing, I think people only get upset when they're waiting for a particular joke/bit of dialogue and someone talks over it and misses it. Stuff like this you can talk all the way through! Deaths - there's only 4 bystanders/spectators who have ever died, quite a few marshals (like the one you asked if he wanted to cross the road) and LOTS of rider deaths: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Isle_of_Man_TT_Mountain_Course_fatalities

Great reaction. Dave, you said about the grey blur. It was Joey Dunlop who made that quote, his long gone ( RIP ). His now riding the great track up in the sky. He died on his bike.!! Someone has already mentioned the Peter Hickman video. This video will put you both in the saddle on Peters BMW RR . Filmed by a gopro attached to the chin of Peters helmet. Avg lap speed 136.+ mph.!!! And you'll think its speeded up, but its not what see is real time speeds. You'll also see the front wheel riding up a lot , at first you will think your imaging it. Looks like a hard bike to ride. You asked a question about how long it takes to learn the coures. I have that answer for you both. If you're already a competent rider, it'll take you 3 year's to learn the 200 plus corners and bumps and humps on the course. And another 5 years to full master it, so 8 years in total and you can ride the course at Peter's speeds.!!! Theres a very good video of Mark Higgins driving a Prodrive 555 Subaru STI race spec rally car 4x4. Filmed in 2016 Mark pulls off an all time lap record, even quicker than the bikes.!! The reason being that Mark could carry more corner speeds being 4 wheels and 4x4 faster into the corners, through them and out of them. Not as fast in the straight line speeds, but as i said theres 200 corners to make time up in. This run incredibly wasn't as fast as he could go.!! He says in the video that there was more time to be had if conditions were more favourable.!! Filmed again with a gopro positioned just behind the driver ( left hand drive position ) and central to the car. Edited with some smart graphics on the screen, stuff like speed, rpm, gears, g force, heart rate, course map and elevation. Etc. Theres plenty of footage on the TT to dive into. I leave you with one last fact. The TT started in 1906.!! Its the world's oldest and longest running motor sports event. To date theres be tragically 256 deaths, quite a few of these were from the earlier days. However its a regular thing. I think theres only been 2 years where no lives were lost.!! Last years event saw 7 people die, 3 rider's and 4 spectators.!! Yes you said it in the reaction, it really happens thats the reality of the TT.!! Oh its held in the last week of May and first week of June, just in case you fancy booking a trip to the island. I'm thinking of going this year for my first taste of it for real.!!! Great reaction and hope to see you both do more TT. Ps. I'm subbing because i want to watch your cheese rolling reaction.!! Lol should be a blast.!!😂😂😂😂❤❤❤

When people write about dead spectators at the TT, they are referring to the dead at "crazy Sunday", where all spectators are allowed to race on the track with their private motorcycles without any speed limits. @@daveandjessdivorced Unfortunately, I don't know how many of the racing spectators crashed into spectators, but in the real races, as far as I know, there were only 2 dead spectators in a single accident. I don't think they have the funds or the desire to block anything. That's the appeal of the race, to be Courtside. If they didn't have fans so close to the road, nobody would be watching that race.
