I am an Igbo man and I love the music of Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey very much even though I don't speak Yoruba language. I don't understand a word of this song but I love it deeply. The fantastic blend of the string and percussion and they masterful delivery of the lyrics the Commander kept me playing it over and over again. But I will like to know the theme and meaning of the song.

The manner in which Obey's production distributes each instrument (tune) into the speakers is still a mystery to me! This radiophonic effect I have not found in any music. Well done Obey Commander (evergreen indeed)

Sir,point of correction,My Dad was a die hard fan of Ebenezer Obey. He bought the cartridge of this music and we played it in his car stereo when it was newly released in 1978.
