This is encouraging. I've ordered this 10mm lens...intending to pursue street images, to then crop to 65:24 panorama. But almost no one shows street images in their reviews of this lens. So thank you for the images with people. 🙂

Perfect timing I’ve just picked up one of these lenses and this video has prompted me to step aside from my usual street photography and try something different. Thanks for sharing

Absolutely loved this video! I found it incredibly professional with top-notch content, editing, and a fantastic philosophical approach. Couldn't agree more with the importance of 'slowing down, taking a step back, and viewing things from a slightly different perspective/angle.' ...It helps sometimes, just to mix it up a bit. Definitely one of the best photography videos I've seen!...I think both the video footage and stills shots you captured were really superb...This will certainly be a repeat player for me, when I need that little extra inspiration to hit the streets. One of the most important and meaningful aspects of photography for me, is connection, and capturing that essence in an image is quite special. I'm drawn to subjects that resonate with me on a personal level, and when that connection translates into the final photograph, it's incredibly powerful. It's not just about the visual aesthetics, although that is important in it's own right, and is sometimes enough, it's about conveying the intent and emotion behind the shot. That's what truly makes photography an art form, imho. More like this Aaron, please...Most excellent!

Beautiful work! Really gives sense of scale for someone like myself who hasn't been there. I bought same lens awhile back and love it, honestly love most TTArtisans. TTArtisans 50mm Tilt is by far my fav lens especially when it comes to creating abstract images. Well worth a look or buy. Also started using the free Gyroflow software this week allowing you to put a GoPro for example in hotshoe, then use it with camera(fuji) footage to get free stabilization. Opens up possibilities for camera/lens combos that don't have IS/IBIS but still want to shoot handheld footage. Great work, love your channel!

Oh yeah and I'm definitely going to get this lens, it looks great! thanks for showing just how effective such a wide angle can be in a city setting...It's not a focal length you would normally reach for, but boy, it delivers great results!

Wow. This was just a simple great video. Such a refreshing take on a lens, I’ve seen and read user reviews for the lens…but I loved how you wove that into looking at the world in a new way, and what people want when photographing things…for themselves…for the world. I’ve been thinking about getting this lens for an A6000 for my first trip to Tokyo next year. This video really helped me decide, with how wonderfully the cityscape looks with the lens!

@@kylokev I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. Taking photos with such a wide lens is definitely challenging. It makes distant objects small. The challenge is getting closer to these objects. However, when you do nail it, it is very rewarding.

The meaning that I get out of photography is random periods of calm where I feel as though I can control the speed and pace of the world around me. These moments of course are relatively fleeting, which is why they are so rewarding when they appear.

Enjoyed the monologue - I used to do photography as a means of coping; for the past year it has been more about escaping difficult situations.

It was so satisfying to hear your thoughts about photography! Love from India. Regarding the video quality from this manual lens, have you used any gimbal or is it only the camera IBIS that has made the output this stable?

why does it turn to 15mm on a full frame though?😢
@aaronsambeyfilm
@aaronsambeyfilm 2 ай бұрын
@@ArthurKingw It's the full frame equivalent. Fujifilm is a crop sensor camera (1.5x crop) so you multiply your focal length (10mm) by the crop factor (1.5) and you get 15mm.
