Wonderful review! Theres something so satisfying getting a budget lens performing above its weight class than expensive glass performing as it should since you paid four digits for it! I think this will pair great with my sigma 20mm f2 with the same filter size.

I've been using this lens for a while. It's definitely an exemplary piece. Its metal construction gives it a durable feel, and its lightness is a boon for photographers on the move. The focusing speed is impressively fast compared to my old Nikon 85 1.8G. Additionally, its performance in low-light conditions is excellent, making it a reliable choice.

A crazy sharp lens for low light. It can stand on its hood but not very stable as this is not a fat lens. Leave the rear cap in its box, use a regular rear cap & u r off to some carefree shooting.

It really is a great lens, as you say nice and sharp and filled with charachter too. Enjoy it.

mine if you get over f4 ...itsounds and is like its searching the focus

That doesn't sound right at all. Did you contact them and report it? Sounds like you have a fault there.

@kieranhayesphotography its just going back and front...back and front... if at f4 is doing a little focus search at f8 is doing a longer search...is like is nothing to focus even if is outside in the city

@omulcufermoar definitely reach out there them, sounds like your lens is faulty unfortunately. Does it work ok below F4? Can you still see a blurred image through the EVF at F4?

@kieranhayesphotography f2-f2.8 perfect sharp.... i really love the quality but after 3.5 is starts slowly to search the focus back and front like on a small portion..but as you increase the F...is searches the focus on a bigger portion.( like if on f4 is searching lets say on a 1mm portion back and front.. at f8 is doing it on 8-10mm portion ) going back and front back and front not stopping for 1 second
