TTC External Route Announcements (Routes 6 - 199)

NOTE: The route announcements are now long outdated and its voice has since been replaced by the VISION system. This video still serves as a reminder of what these automated route announcements used to sound like back when it was first implemented.
This is a set of sound bytes of Toronto Transit Commission's ERA system that has begun implementing in 2016. This includes all regular, Downtown Express, Rocket, and seasonal routes that operate during the day, but excluding special services (such as school specials or temporary routes no longer in service). Note that all sounds in this video are made by myself and is not official, as there may be mistakes or typos that deviate from how it sounds exactly on the buses.

There's a free computer app called Audacity. It has a feature where you can record the audio right out of the sound driver of the computer itself without the need of using an external microphone.

Noah Lear As I said in the description, not all routes will sound exactly like what is actually heard on the buses. I can only verify a few routes through my own experience (the entirety of 102 isn't one of them; so I'm kinda surprised if I got the rest of 102 right). However, I will post in the description on how you can help out for the next update.
