Easy, GO train to Union then porter shuttle to YTZ which takes about 40 minutes. If you prefer to stay on the TTC, then Line 2 to Bloor/Younge, Line 1 to Union, then 509 to Billy Bishop, then you will walk about 10 minutes to the terminal.

Cheaper but much longer than the up express. I would rather take the up express.

I think it is worth the savings. Also UP is not included in one fare so if you wanna transfer to anything else you still have to pay for it, meanwhile if you use the TTC for this route you can transfer to anything else and not pay or have $3.35 deducted from it!
