Great Lakes predator fish diets have been studied for decades and have documented several prey consumption shifts throughout time. The introduction of invasive species, such as the round goby, cause continuous changes in aquatic food webs and may play a critical role in food web structures today. However, predator preference for round goby, the sizes consumed, and how this may differ between two lakes with diverse prey communities remains unknown. Here, we address some of these uncertainties, such as the different size structures of round goby being consumed by predators and how this differs between Lakes Michigan and Huron.
