Thanks for the test on these lesser known TTS cars. I have earlier versions of the Autobianchi car and three versions of the F2 car with steering. All my use of these slotcars have been on routed wood tracks in my race group tracks. The F2 was a bit tail happy on first use, but a light sanding of the rear tyres took the shine off the rubber and improved the rear grip vastly. The guide sticking in the Gulf car when pushed hard likely has something different to the orange car and can be fixed. One track owner has done a lot of tuning to his Autobianchi and has it running faster than most Group 2 BRM similar size cars that we race. Not a lot in our group have the F2 car, so we do not have that as a racing class yet. Funny story was years ago, when talking to my local Slotcar supplier in my race group , we were talking about his interest in his small Fiats collection, like his 500, 600, 850 and 128. All full size show cars kept in a garage next to his track. I asked him if he knew anything about Autobianchi cars. His surprised response was he not only knew about them but right at that time had one in a shipping container on the way from Italy to Australia. What are the odds of my asking about Autobianchi to the exact person in Australia having one shipped at that time? Possibly one shipped in a ten year period by one person and I ask the question. Autobianchi having just three or so in Australia with full suze car collectors. Although his full size car is an early sixties 500 cc rear engine car. Bianchina I think Naturally later when the TTS slotcar became available he had to have one and set it up well for racing. Interesting story on how this car changed the TTS BRM relationship.

Hi John, thanks for watching. We're looking forward to doing some tweaking to see what it will take to make the cars run well on Carrera and then the test on Policar. That's a great story about the Autobianchi! What are the chances of him having a real car en route. The f2 is definitely fun, we're probably going to get a 2nd one to have something to race it against. Maybe the white so Sasha can decorate it.

Nice looking cars. I had to laugh as my favourite livery is gulf as well. My favourite is the formula car. I love them almost as much as can am and daytona prototype. Gulfi wins hands down in the long run though. Great presentation.

Not heard of this make before. Back in the 60s I had Airfix brand 1:32 F1 cars which had Ackerman steering front wheels, and I've some GT Ninco cars from the 90s that also have front steering wheels.

Carrera track reies on magnets, as does Scaley sport track. Running on Ninco or Policar the tyres would grio better. Next TTS on preorder is the Alfa 33, might be tempted by the March 772.

For sure, but a lot of people have Carrera. We have policar track too but not set it up yet! Stay tuned for updates on the test track :) The March is great fun and the Alfa is also a must-have. Have you checked out our review of the Alfa 33 proto?

Great video. Those TTS look good. Great if you have a racing pair they look like a very different experience. The formula car with the steering is also cool. The gulf looks very nice.

One trick to driving these is you have to change your driving technique. slow in and accelerate out as the front has to pull the car around. Also to be fair these are not RTR or ready to run. Set up and a different driving style will benefit performance. Also turn down the brakes and try to use the mantra slow in fast out of the curves.

the 44 car will perform very differently with tire break in and balance plus tinkering with steering . you might want to consirder tire balanceing pinion gear axle oiling. plus general setups. generally out of the box slot cars are poor performers compared to setup balancing oiling etc. setup routunes
