I did that a few times, no rules apply its all for fun. I had 3 guys in NJ who we used to go to each others house and let a few birds out there to see if we can bring their bird out to go home with ours or if he can keep our birds there and he would try to bring them down. Good video Johnny. Keep up the TT's

You have to build your birds up for hikes as we call it here in Baltimore...

And yes, start tossing short to long distance. Not just taking them 30 plus miles the first time, it's just not fun to lose birds.

I agree with all that you said, my friend, especially when they are healthy and routing "away" from the loft for 30/60 minutes, that's when you should start feeling good about the health of your birds. No matter if they are homers, tipplers and even flights.

BTW looking for a male Pakistani highflyer. I was gifted a young hen and am looking to keep a kit with my homers. Let me know if anyone local Orlando area has a bird to sell,. Regards J

Why are you trying to tell them how to do their check up? They do that all the time they not with all those rules and stuff they just doing it for fun to see who can stray in birds that’s all and they gotta be all that crazy stuff you talking about you should try to do that down there, see if it worked out for you but let them do what they do up there

Let me clarify, a check-up for fun is great, and please don't miss understand me. I am not trying to tell them how to do a check-up with rules but just a suggestion for those out there watching these videos on social media that may have questions on the verification of birds caught by other pigeon fanciers. The idea behind just for fun, like you" say," does not show in the videos. When pigeon fanciers particapating start bragging, teasing other pigeon fanciers and claim numerous captures, it's clear to me that it's a competition with no rules of verification. So, just food for thought makes it more exciting for viewers like myself who enjoy watching.

@@RedEyeLoft I get what you saying, but that’s how they do it up there. I just enjoy it what it is. I’m from Baltimore they don’t really do things like that here but there lots of Pigeon fancy is here to do that.
