My mom wants to play a musical instrument but she has arthritis. I wonder if she would like this. It looks like it would be fun to play.

This product was actually brought up to me by a friend of mine who saw someone using it on TikTok, recently. And, honestly, I must commend your video. This is the first one I've seen where someone can actually show how much you can really do with this thing. You made it look like more than just some simple toy. And I appreciate that. As for some of the commenters on this video, you guys really suck. You want to talk about laziness, but I bet most of you are people who are able bodied individuals and have no idea how much of a struggle a "real" instrument can be for those of us who are not. I, personally, play mainly bass. And it's really hard. I only have full use out of one of my hands, so I can't really strum or finger the instrument. What I have to do is a weird HOPO approach to play the instrument (basically, press the string in, really hard, on the fret board, for every note I play). As one can imagine, it's pretty taxing to play that way. Especially, on faster or more advanced songs. And, while I also sing, I've desperately tried to play Guitar and Piano. Both of which are even harder with only one good hand. Playing the way I do for bass feels almost impossible to do on guitar, because of chords, and I can't really play the "high" and "low" ends on the piano, at the same time. So, while this thing isn't perfect, I do see its uses. Especially, for those like me. Honestly, being able to at least have a form of guitar or piano to write songs with, would be a god send. But, even still, someone shouldn't need to be like me to have a use for or enjoy something like this. You all do realize that not everyone has the desire or time to learn a full on instrument, right? And some people just want to have fun and express themselves with music and that sort of thing should be encouraged, however they find a way to do so. I do not know if I will personally buy one of these, but I hope that the people who do, enjoy them. Especially those where a "real" instrument seems so out of grasp for them. Because I've been there myself. And, even if you don't need a product like this, if it helps you express your love for music, then I think that's fantastic.

What's with LiberLive C1 vs Lava Genie? They look very similar, but two different companies, both coming out at the same time.

I feel complicated about this. Honesty, you can pretty much do the same thing this guitar does in any music making program, so it's not exactly new. And I dont think it's as lazy as people might think. To do anything that isn't super basic or covers songs, there will be a learning curve, and i think that's what is interesting about this product. It looks like guitar hero that can actually kinda teach you how to play a guitar. At the very least, about notes and stuff. Kinda neat ngl.

A amazing product but not viable in Australia at over $2000 Australian the price for this product is insane especially when there are similar products in Australia for under $500 that are almost identical they definitely didn't bother marketing to the correct demo they market this for the everyday person but the every day person won't pay that kind of money for this kind of product so its more for the mid to high income individuals who might have some money to throw at stuff that sits and gathers dust after a small amount of time id love to try it out but i probably couldn't excuse in my mind paying ovrr $2000 i wouldn't even spend that on a real one

This seems like a pointless product because it’s not doesn’t have all the guitar notes. Why would someone want to play a 3-string MIDI guitar? Awesome review though.

A jazz-fusion variant with at least a chromatic octave, MIDI in/out for the drums, impulse response loader, synth and fx suite, *plus* a cigarette lighter and slide-out ashtray would have really nailed it.

To clarify, I'm not saying there aren't tricks you can learn to help w/ the learning process. If you're not a virturoso, which 99% of us are not, it takes time, frustration and patients in my experience, whether your self taught or have had teachers. If this gets you started then I'll concede that point and have a crack at it.
