@@mctabish1001 how much would you say is the camera improved from the 2xl? I too have the 2xl since 2018 and have been looking to upgrade to the 4a but reviews have said that the camera is not much improved as the sensor is still 4 years old.

Thanks for the review. Been using the 3a for awhile, but I'm really wanting the faster processing for a smoother gaming experience. I've held out and haven't switched to wireless charging or 90 htz display, so I decided my upgrade will be to the 4a 5G. Sounds like I made a good choice! Thanks for the vid.

BTW, when I upgraded from an iPhone to a 3a XL, the new phone did an excelent job of importing almost all of the history, and data form the iPhone. Very impressive.

The sound on the 4a/4a 5G is better because the upper speaker is not implemented in the display like on the 5. The panning between the legt/right speaker is not good on all new pixels. The downfiring speaker handles most of the volume, which leads to a bad stereo image. I ordered the regular one and compared it to my OnePlus 7. The speakers sounded way more tinny and were a lot quiter.

But on Black Friday I'm planning on buying a 4a 5G to replace my favorite BlackBerry KEY2 LE, whose fragile screen broke after a drop and hasn't been the same since.

4a 5g, just compare on gsmarena. dont let the size of the 4a 5g fool you, it is actually decently sized (probably the same size of your current), plus it has a better processor which makes the difference due to the generational gap. the extras you get are worth it, reviewers just think cheaper for specs = better thinking the "average consumer" all the time even tho we use are phones differently and they dont think about the advantages of 4a 5g, tho the pixel 5 is actual niche.

I just bought one on Thursday, and so far... It's great. Performance is better than what I thought it would be considering the price. Battery life is great, and it's a perfect size. Overall, I'm very happy with it. 😉

I am watching from a Samsung S8 Plus which is coming up for nearly 4 years old now... and it still going strong but I'm so FED UP with the BLOATWARE on Samsung phones and other phones as well. So I'm pretty sure the 4A 5G is gonna be my phone... is the screen gap issue gonna be fixed on the Pixel 5?? Google are saying it's part of the design for it to have a gap!!

Dude, your video is damn good. Just do not "zoom in" the shots while showing the sample photos. Keep the photos in their resolution only, in static mode so that the viewers can judge the photos. Thanks ❤❤

that would be asking too much, tbh google actually wanted the 4a to be 399 in the first place, but for competetiveness it is 349. the 50 wouldnt be a deal breaker if you think about it cuz the 4a 5g would outlast the 4a anyway for obvious reasons.

How's the s10e battery life? I've just got a 4a 5G, but I'm considering sending it back to buy a refurbished s10e instead. I want a smaller phone with an ultrawide camera, and the 4a 5g is still a bit too big to use one-handed. But I'm concerned Samsung phones might not last long, especially with a 2 year old pre-used battery :s

@@TheRABIDdude I have the s10e mine is the exynos and not Snapdragon. The battery life is not that great and it's always on the back of my mind, I can just about make it through a day. From what I hear the Snapdragon has slightly better battery life. The screen suffers from black crush so when watching a dark scene all the dark colours are as one with no detail and contrast. The speakers are great though.

@@dennismcleod8046 Thanks, I'm still deciding between the 2. Got both of them here now actually so I can decide hands on and return one haha. The 4a 5G has a much nicer screen (s10e seems to have a yellow tint throughout it, maybe from age?), but both screens are leagues ahead of my old phone's so I don't care about that. I haven't noticed the black crush you talked about, so I guess it doesn't bother me. The battery life is better than expected, though still probably less than half that of 4a 5G. Surprisingly less difference in camera performance than I expected. 4a 5G is only really better at night. All in all, the better size and resilience of s10e is winning out imo :) 4a 5g isn't agriegiously big, but it will be once I slap a case and a screen protector on it.

Just bought the 4a 5g. Tip: don't upgrade the software. Just use it with the OS version it comes out of the box. Updating phone will only slow down your phone.

You stated the 4a5G has 8 gigs of ram, not true ! It has 6 like 4a . Both very capable devices ! But as with 98% of reviewers They don't mention the Google drops every month the software splendor which makes all the hardware great it is the very heart of the pixel! software !!!
