Exactly the same in my scenario even though I do watch both separately. He just showed up randomly and the quality of the video, quality built van setup with great tech just drew me in. I entered my mid 30s getting divorced after 10 years, owning a home, etc. Which I'm in the process of wrapping up amicably and thankfully no kids. Sold the house, selling the stuff in storage, bought the Promaster, bought all my solar and batteries today (perfectly timed black friday this year haha). Basically, I'm well on my way to living the van life. Staying on a friends couch until I get it operational. I'm very lucky, I get to work entirely from home. Which lead me down this path that's now becoming a reality. I need this radical change in my life and I can't wait. As far as in concerned the more uncomfortable and feeling like I dont belong anywhere the better! It all goes towards my motivation.

Since I started doing Instacart full time a little over a year ago, I’ve made it a goal of mine to have a can conversion similar to this. I want to live the van life on the road while making a living doing Instacart. Lately I’ve been living out of my car parking at Walmarts overnight, and during the days I do Instacart. Saving up to afford a van like this, I just don’t have skills to do a conversion like this. My dream is to get this kind of van and van setup. Travel to different spots doing Instacart, live out of the van, and game during the day while waiting on Instacart orders.

I am glad I found your channel because my husband and I both are gamers. My husband does live streaming. We both have been talking about going Nomad in a few years with the cost going up owning a home. WE want to be free and go where ever we feel like going. Love this! I'm 40 and I'm just in process of rebuilding a 40ft motorcruiser with around 6 months to go. So far I have a Ps5, hp omen gaming laptop, psvr2, thrustmaster T300 RS racing wheel, 100 inch projector system plus a ultrawide monitor 😂 who said we have to give up gaming..

In canada living in my car. This is the plan. Take my Shepard mix named Bella on the road. While working. I feel bad that she had to come along with dad on a bit of a downfall. But I'm hoping to work towards upgrading to something like this so she's more comfortable and dad has his set up and kitchen. Van life is good for warm climates, all you need is shorts, flops and shirts. Also it would be great if the gas was cheap. In Europe it would be hard to do that becouse we have sun like 3-4months a year with spring/summer season, rest is a lot of clouds, solar panels would not be able to keep up with charging.

Im 27 and Ive been working for an industry company for 8 years, had to quit my job cuz i develloped an ears problem and mainly because of wearing earplugs and i didnt know ive had sensible ears and I had 2 main goals in life; one following my dream of becoming an artist in electronic music producing and second was to live offgrid and do vanlife. Im currently jobless and have trouble finding a job after what my last experience did to my body and I keep falling into depression but watching your vids helps me keep courage on not giving up and follow up my dreams. One good upgrade to do would be permanent water filtration system. That could be fed into extra faucet. Overall I really like the build, personally I would just find way to make one of those front seats into gaming setup. You could use some clever vesa mounting to swivel me monitor out of the way when not in use and to various positions. I haven't used driver seats as office chair, bur I imagine they would work well. Just seems bit of an waste not use them instead of separate office chair and desk

You mentioned options for power during many cloudy days. Another option you can look into is a high output alternator with 2 wiring harnesses. One harness for operating normal van engine operations and the other wiring harnesses going to you spare batteries. If your batteries are running low because of too many cloudy days, then you run your van for a little bit and your batteries are fully charged.

16:57 seems like this situation, one of those small wind turbines would be amazing, especially with that wind. Although I hear they might be noisy at night. But at night it would be useful to have charge during no sunlight times (if you have wind)
