Germany made the same mistake in ww2.. raising new units instead of rebuilding existing ones.. better to take a damaged unit and use its remaining personnel (after r and r) to form the framework of 2 units.. which can be filled out with fresh cadres

Those look like $100 USD notes Update: I just went on the original Twitter post, those are def $100 notes with old Benny Franklin on them lol…. And $50 notes underneath. I’m not American so I don’t know who the dude on the $50 note is, but you can clearly see the number 50. You can even make out the “100” on some of the top notes

It’s Ulysses S. Grant on the $50 bill. He led the Union armies in the US Civil War and was elected president later on after Lincoln was assassinated. He was also really important in establishing black rights & mending the nation back together during Reconstruction

In April 2024, the US passed its fiscal 2024 military aid package for Ukraine: $61.3 billion. It's hard to find out how much of this has so far been spent or "committed" (signed contracts for future delivery of weapons etc) but it seems far less than the total. Therefore, although "finding" an extra $2 billion might seem a big deal, in the context of all the billions yet to be spent in fiscal 2024 (which ends Sept 30, 2024) it isn't that much. The Pentagon really needs to get moving dishing that money out the door. I don't think they can spend it (or "commit" it) after the end of the fiscal year and passing an FY 2025 aid package may become really problematic after the election. Even if Harris wins, the Republicans are likely to control at least one house of Congress.

May I correct you at least on the value of the American currency shown on the bed: the currency note closest to the viewer has the portrait of President U.S. Grant which is a $50 bill (note). The rest of the American currency have the portrait of Benjamin Franklin which carries the value of $100. We are looking at probably around $5000, I do not know the valuation of the foreign currency.

It could also have been Ukrainian Gepard on Romanian territory. Gepards can be used as a move-to-intercept weapon against the slow-moving Shaheds, and if the optimal intercept point happens to be across the Romanian border, Romania wouldn't have much reason to deny them.

Ukraine can develop over the horizon air defense drones. They use data link from satellite companies. Russia may lose its entire air force including all nuclear weapons. Nuclear weapons nothing if short wired. Air defense drones 💪😎 could help to short wire circuits in old nuclear weapons no problem.

Manpower going to new units exclusively is a Soviet rationale. The Russians are doing similar in that they will use ALL of the unit up on the battlefield. Infantry especially. Humans are a resource to be consumed just like fuel and ammunition. It tells us that the Ukrainian Command is STILL very much a Soviet Army, with all the same logic. While units are learning to use Western weapons and some tactics are changed at the front, the large scale movements are very much Soviet.

Torsten is drawing the wrong conclusions from the appearance of T 54+T55+T62 tanks+BMP 1+BTR 70 because all these armored vehicles are dinosaurs. The Russians have plenty of tanks in bad condition, so their replacement rate has dropped steadily. Covert Cabal does the best job of explaining the Russian tank situation. The more accurate conclusion is the Russian MOD is pumping out older tanks which are easier to repair to fill dwindling active tank numbers.

You are overrating the recent Russian gains big time given the Russian causalities. Using these dinosaurs will be less effective and lead to more dead Russian tank crews.

The "Talk" about Olen'ya Airbase must refer to the #1 Severomorsk Airbase which is the only base that has the tarmac space to park such a huge plane. The distance from the closest Ukrainian launch point to impact would be 1.200+ miles and cross over 3 different Russian Military Districts in route. So Kudo's to Ukraine for putting the area of the Russian Northern Fleet under the gun. Russia is pushing a huge private mobilization offer big bonuses equal to 10-years of wages up front in order to increase their front-line troop status by another 30% in manpower numbers and reach a figure of around 670.000. This will offset the Ukrainian mobilization efforts and help to fuel the continued "meat-Wave" attacks that have been happening on an increased tempo over the past 3-months. Don't sweat it if you make any mistake in your videos, the battlefield is fluid and what you report will change by tomorrow and any intelligent person will realize it. The withholding of replacements is a doubled sword. the creation of new units looks good on a paper map, but without a cadre of veterans these units will just collapse in their 1st combat action. The creation of reserve units should be secondary to holding the front lines. I just hope that the 2 Brigades that will be trained & equipped by both France & Poland will have the Cadre necessary to make them battlefield effective.

It likely is due to increased training regimes. If you are comfortable sending fresh recruits directly to combat without operational training then reinforcing directly is ok. Likely they want to take the units out of combat to reinforce and re-train to increase cohesion and survival.

I guess it's a tricky situation - do you send in fresh kids with minimal training with no experience to prop up the front lines or try and maximise their ability as a fighting force and get them up to speed before unleashing them? Sucks for the current fighters of course but there is a little hard logic there I guess. And surely they may just as well surround their artillery with claymores. Saved the canon but shredded the operators.........

No it doesn't. More like every meter the front advances towards Europe, the more aid will flow to Ukraine. NATO has no mandate to back a winner... it's only about making sure Ukraine doesn't lose. A slow fighting withdrawal, moving back to the next line of prepared defences while leaving the Russians to occupy ruins, is Ukraine's best bet until the West actually decides it's time for Ukraine to win. Covert Cabal is not the only one estimating how much old Soviet stock remains.

The bills on the bed are hundreds (Ben Franklin) and Fifties (Ulysses S Grant). You may have meant that, but you said "single dollar bills" (George Washington)... perhaps you meant they're only one deep. Still You have over $10,000 in just the US$, and that's more than 3x annual wages for the people you're talking about.
