They gave him a future, which a lot of parents nowadays just don't do and leave their kids to decide their future for themselves. That can be a bad thing because some of these kids will grow up and they don't know what they want to do in life. Especially coming out of high school life. I feel like some parents should give their kids an alternative route or course of life for the benefits of their kids if they do not know what they want do in life. I had a very similar pelvis hip injury that Tua did. I did not have the dislocation just the fracture of the acetabulum. I spent an entire year in a wheelchair and had to learn how to walk again. I was never able to play golf again the way I used to because I was unable to transfer the momentum through my hips. Quite frankly I am amazed that Tua is even on a professional field. I did not have the University of Alabama behind me or the surgeons he did, but for him to be able to overcome the mental aspect of it is exceptional. I was about the same age as he was at the time. Now at 57 I have a lot of trouble with joint pain and walking is not easy. I think this kid should be put on a pedestal for what he has gone through on a personal level. You keep going Tua, you make me proud!

Unfortunately we in the Dolphin's community literally have "fans" who spew vitriolic hate towards this this man/quarterback/player, who some of those haters say their problems with him is because he isn't the "prototypical" quarterback (size, arm, among other things🤔). Tua's play on the field along with his personality off would make any true fan of the team he is on proud and hopeful for the future success of the team.
