TUB FRONT PANEL FOR $34! NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED | MINIMAL TOOLS AND CUTS | 10 MINUTE PROJECT

Why did I wait 1 year to do this!!? This was by far the easiest project I have done thus far. For only $34 in materials I was able to create a jacuzzi jet bathtub panel. With minimal equipment and cutting. Super easy and way cheaper then the run of the mill panels out there.
I used:
Home Depot
-bead board wall panel
-1.5” PVC flat trim
-adhesive silicone
I didn’t even paint it. Looks great the way it is.

I JUST ripped off the built-in front panel of our jetted tub the other night :) The tub jets haven't worked since we moved in 7 years ago. No idea why I didn't do it sooner, bc I was able to get the tub working again in minutes! Now I just need to replace the front cover and make it more easily accessible for repairs in the future. Thank you for the video idea!

It looks great but I highly suggest adding a rug in front of it and be sure people are dry when getting out as that material is not waterproof and will ruin very quickly. It also is white primered so it does need painted.

Hi! It’s vinyl bead board. I already sold that house but it was doing great no problems the whole time I had it.

Did you secure the board panel, as it looked loose. If so how?

There were studs on the edges and i think one in the middle. But I was able to wedge it into the top edge of the tub. Since it was a jet tub I needed to make it removable so we can check the motor and plumbing if needed.

It’s to put a base under the tub so there’s not an empty space under there if it’s although it can weaken the stability of your tub or shower pan

No Hardy Board. This will not last, bor would any home inspector let this slide

We had to do it this way to have access to the jets and motor. 🤷🏻‍♀️
