Many thanks. A very tricky piece. I think the trickiest moment is at 01:34, when Barnabus has to lead on the abrupt key change. Tuba Skinny very closely follow the Duke Ellington recording. The structure appears to be something like this. Please correct me someone if I'm wrong: 00:09 INTRODUCTION : 2 bars (exactly as in the Duke Ellington recording). 00:11 THEME A : 16 bars, Ensemble (as Ellington). 00:27 THEME B : 16 bars, Ensemble (as Ellington, though Ellington gives the melody to the reeds rather than the cornet). 00:44 THEME C : 32 bars, Ensemble (with breaks taken on the final two of every 8 bars, as per Ellington). 01:17 THEME D : 16 bars, similar to the start of Theme C (still as Ellington). 01:34 THEME A : 16 bars, trombone solo (as per Ellington). 01:50 THEME E : 32 bars, (similar to the main theme of 'Tiger Rag', except that we seem to have an F minor chord instead of A flat in bars 17 - 20). Craig features, notably on the break in bars 15 and 16. NOTE Shaye's signal at 02:19, reminding the band to stop dead on bar 31 for Robin's break. 02:23 THEME E : Robin, having taken the break at the end of the previous chorus, now plays a chorus against stop chords. 02:56 THEME E : Ensemble, this time as 34 bars, with the clever collective break (accurately copied from Ellington) on bars 15 and 16 unusually followed (just as in Ellington) by TWO ADDITIONAL bars; and there's a cheeky 1-bar Coda (exactly as in the Ellington) to round it off.

@@emiliolopezify Yes. He seems to have exactly the same responsibility in 'Pearl River Stomp'.

A really tight edition of a great song. How many hours a week do they practice to keep this level up?

Challenge No. 2: At which point does the piece switch back from the key of B flat to the key of E flat?
