That was good stuff, but I think what intrigued me was that, that it sounded... old, like the old scratchy recordings you hear but always wondered "what did it really sound like back in the days". She has a great voice and the band a great sound... I felt like I was hearing what I might of actually heard if I was walking down that street decades ago. It sounded old, but with clarity, genuine, real... like what it was meant to sound like. I guess that doesn't make any sense.

No she wouldn't. Even into the 50's this music - New Orleans Style - was exclusively played by African Americans - although they weren't called that at the time. 'Whites' played Blue Grass and Dixieland a bit later.. Tuba Skinny would be unique - playing it in the 21st.

Nonsense. The Original Dixieland Jass/Jazz Band was all white, as were many other practitioners of New Orleans, "Chicago Style", and West Coast Dixieland.
