Hey, I don’t know if you’re still reading comments but I really enjoyed this. I played alto sax in band, and this is one of my favorite pieces. Definitely the most memorable. It’s fascinating - in this recording I’m hearing the song performed from the other side of the band, and it’s a quite a bit different. I can hear the horn parts much more clearly, and the ones I’m used to hearing are more distant. Also, I like how a performance always sounds different from *within* the ensemble than what the audience gets. Anyway, great job. The bass instruments always chug away, never getting enough recognition for being the foundation of the whole thing. We can’t do our crazy sixteenth-note runs without you guys. Thanks.
