What a great use of Riv-Nuts! I used to use them to mount big junction boxes to steel walls inside Crane Operator Cabs and never thought to use them for this application - even though I have been seeing more and more of these sheet metal screw holes stripped out on these amps nowadays. Thanks!

I'm a hobbyist builder, your attention to detail is impressive. I'd love to own one of your amps one day. Thanks for posting!

Hey brother... Tom mentioned your finger injury... you know about his, well, I have am almost identical one as him... pinched the tip of my left middle finger off with a dowel press... I had never used it... was supposed to be helping a buddy... couple minutes in and off to the ER. Thought I would never play (Like Tom has said). Well, I am still no Bukovac, but after a long healing time, I can still play. Finger is weird and the callous a whole new shape, but still making music. Hang in there and don't rush. You will get it back. I am the praying kind, so I will. Take care... no need to respond.

Yeah I know all about Tom's finger (Been friends for 30 years). I remember that happening like it was yesterday. It scared us all especially Buk. It's been 3 months for me and I am still doing Physical Therapy and have seen several plastic surgeons. I cut the top of my left index finger and got 90% of the tendon. It's just going to take a very long time as my finger is pretty stiff and painful. All I can do is keep trying and wait it out. I appreciate you message and thoughts. Cheers

Nice job! What grip length of rivnuts do you use? Never seem to find some the pinch enough on these chassis.
