Tube Door Install

Not having side mirrors with the doors off has ALWAYS been an issue for me, as well as not being able to lean out and see obstacles when I'm wheeling. Tube doors with mirrors resolve BOTH issues. These doors from EAG seem to be well built, assemble easily, and are easily installed and adjusted. You can find the link to these doors below.

i found these were solidly built and latched tightly. i missed out on all the install as EAG installed em tho lol i didn't even know my rig was coming back with tubes. they got Betty directly after we completed the Rubicon and Ricardo was laughing at all the guys over there that asked wtf this guy do? his Jeep looks like its been somewhere and its only 3 weeks old! great install vid and i would recommend these to anyone shopping tubes.

LOL! That's why I have a Diabolical Slipstream. I can put stuff back there to be a lot more secure. Main thing is.....don't leave anything that someone might want out in view. Valid concern, but I've not had any problems. Thanks for watching and the comment! 🤘🏻

Great video, thanks for posting! I just assembled mine and installed them tonight, they all fit pretty perfectly with the exception of the drivers side door which has some play in it when closed so it rattles. I am gonna see if i can get it tightened up in the morning.

Sorry, man. It's been a few yrs since I bought mine. I'm certain any instructions (if I had them) got thrown in the trash, LOL! This video SHOULD get you through assembly and install, though.

If you loosen the screws to the latch on the door, it'll give you some adjustment. That's the best I can offer, not seeing exactly what you have going on. The latch on the body adjusts too, but I do NOT recommend moving it AT ALL. If you do, you'll have to adjust it back when you put your OEM doors back on. Adjust the tube latch to fit the body latch. Hope this helps!

Honestly, I have no idea. I know what a Jeep Liberty is, and I've seen them. I just have zero hands on with them. My suggestion would be to find a local off road or Jeep club and try to find someone within that group who has some tube doors. That way it would be easier to identify if they'd work or not. I just don't have the knowledge to give you an answer.

No, they're not. I mean, what's the point? They're tube doors, so security isn't an option. The latch holds it place. I've been on the highway at 75+ mph and off road with no rattles. Adjust the latches correctly, and you'll not be disappointed. Thanks for watching, and the question!!🤘🏻

Just installed the EAG tubular doors with the flag and having a bitch of a time getting the latch adjusted to minimize rattles. Any tips for that? Guessing the hinges should be finger tight until after latch adjustment? I know there will be some rattle but seems excessive. Great video.
