Another year, another scrap video. I’ve got some stuff to say, so if you’re not here for that, just ignore me (timestamps are provided both in the description as well as underneath this body of text). This year was a great mashup year for me quality-wise (imo), but as always, there are things that, for one reason or another, I don’t end up posting. I’m continuing with the “tradition” I started in 2023, and, instead of just slapping the individual files in a video with no editing and calling it a day, I have (to the best of my present ability) prepared a proper “mixtape.” This time around I’ve managed to include 65 files (which I feel is about 80% of all my scrapped files from this year), so there’s far more to listen to this year. This was definitely a time-consuming endeavor, but worth it to me (and hopefully to you), if not for the sake of making all of this more pleasant to listen to (also I desperately need the practice for preparing these types of videos, so the more the merrier). I’ll work on getting on the files for this year ready, and try not to procrastinate like I did for 2023. I just have a lot of metadata to edit (I’m lazy and don’t do it exactly when I make a mashup, inevitably making more work for myself at the end of the year), but I’ll drop a link whenever everything’s prepared. Just as an additional note, the majority of files as they exist in this mix have been edited with additional loops (to make them much longer than they actually are), have alternative pitching to help with transitions, and/or are just straight up different BPMs entirely. Thus, in a lot of cases, they won’t be 1:1 with what’s present in my Google Drive. Anywho, please feel free to let me know which of the projects here you hate and/or love. *Especially* the ones you *hate.* In lieu of outright taking requests, that can help me prioritize what mashups I should potentially work on going forward. Holy shit, KZbin just recommended this video to me. Although they're scraps, these are super good ! I'd listen to them forever if possible. I forgot to add how each tracks just moves to the next seamlessly, I love that, it's as if I'm listening to one massive track that never ends; it's so well done
