I was so taken back by his statement I had to relisten to that part a couple of times for it to sink in. It's so mind-blowing that the President doesn't have the control to not spend money it's just hard to believe. Especially now being 35 Trillion dollars in debt.

@@dickgrayson4325 they're pushing the agenda of an individual who is trying to push billionaire agendas onto the masses as if it's some great thing. They're praising people who have been selected solely for their loyalty to the president, rather than any merit or prior knowledge but because he knows they will support any decision he comes up with. They're pushing for an American agenda that's closer to a dictatorship than it has ever been before, even Roosevelt the longest serving president who had to make wartime decisions still had people to check on him. But now we have someone who is pushing for billionaire tax cuts that the poor will pay for through tariffs and their own taxes. Business are already being affected by buying extra stock in waiting for this pointless money game, people are being laid off and the tariffs having been set yet, can you imagine when cost of living increases and everything triples in price. While the people having a hard time buying necessities Project 2025 will be enacted, which if passed through a trump controlled government (where The MAGA cult has a heavy hold) will enable him to have the power to fire and replace government employees with loyalists regardless of reasons and eventually slashing any program he doesn't like starting with the DOE and DOJ. Without a properly (or even poorly) funded department of education public schools will have to reduce the number of teachers and resources meaning our already poorly educated youth will either have to enter a work force, find expensive private education or maybe apply to trump university. Without Department of Justice, and a reduced EPA, a lot of basic laws and regulations will become ignored and penalties on polluters and other white collar criminals will be lowered. Even the undocumented immigrants are necessary to our current capitalist system, 40 percent of menial and agricultural jobs in the US are held by them while the money they make puts billions into the american Healthcare and social security system and he wants to get rid of huge part of the american work, create price hikes, lower overtime pay and union benefits while promising that it's for everyone's benefit while the only advantage goes to the billionaires that are thanking him and the allies he hasn't screwed over yet. As much as a lot of both conservatives and liberals have done bad shit in the past none of them have made it this close to the capitalist nightmare potential of America. The highest 10% will reap the benefits, while the rest struggle with Healthcare hiking up, which as is already happening the lowest income households are having lower life expectancies due to poor conditions and lack of medical care, lack of basic good due to price hikes as tariffs will be going up next year, poorly educated masses will work for low income for massive corporations that will somehow keep getting bigger and bigger... this is the american version of how every dictator or oligarch begins, and these 2 asslickers are praising because they're pretty sure their position will protect them. It's dangerous misinformation like this that divided the nation, and as much as the left is fucking up they didn't support a fascist into the highest american office. One of their main arguments against the left in this country was their push against hate speech, while those same people supported a guy who said he stifle dissidents and send the military to get people who made fun of him that's illegal but let's see if it comes to that because all these other plans sound illegal as shit yet it's the platform he rode on. On a lighter note it's funny as shit america voted for biff from back to the future 2, I'm on holiday and dead ass I expect evil biker gangs to be waiting on the streets when I get back.

He's always been a "true journalist." What we will witness now is new attention and relevancy of his work. His ascension is glorious in that he can do it without being stifled by establishment media. He climbed and excelled within the hell of FOX and earned every bit of his ratings. Finally, now, he deserves the greatest rewards coming to us as he's free and independent. Solo Carlson is the best Carlson. We learned that FOX is as dirty as all of em when they brought on board Paul Ryan (who the acronym RINO was created,) called the election early in 2020, fired Carlson for not towing the line. We're now in the greatest timeline of decades and generations with Carlson at the helm of media, Musk, RFK, Gabbard, Vivek, and so many just as talented in positions of power. We can finally see this through to turn back our worst years of Hussein and make historical the America we live here for.

I hope we all know that it doesn't matter who is in the 'top job' because this is a systemic problem -- greed. We have allowed many of our economic sectors, to take advantage of the American people. It's disgusting and frightening for the future of our country. My husband and I will be retiring in the next two years in another country. We are absolutely worried that SSI will no longer be funded. we'll have to rely on his pension, a 403 (b) and a very prolific lnvestment account with my Tracy Britt Cool Consulting my FA. Our national debt is bloating and expanding every month. Our government needs to get spending under control and cut the federal budget.

When I worked for the Reagan administration, we found that Congressional committee chairmen were among the biggest advocates of the wasteful spending we were trying to control. I will never forget, Senator Lowell Weicker (R-Conn.) was the most strident and outspoken advocates of the Small Business Administration because he was chairman of the Committee on Small Business in the Senate. We had these very same conversations almost 40 years ago. I would like to work for this man.

I can't tell you how much I've been thinking about that speech from Scent of a Woman lately haha. Throughout my career, I've had a lot to do with trying to wade through government regulations and bureaucracy to get projects approved. The amount of waste, very dumb government officials that shovel paperwork around, the redundancy and just sheer costs involved is mind-boggling. Agencies waste millions of dollars here and there because it's not their money and they have no accountability or incentive to do things more efficiently or cheaper (whilst maintaining quality). The number of times I've been left scratching my head over trivial and stupid regulations that don't even apply because "that's the process" or whatever is crazy. No one ever seems to think "how can we do this better". There's just no incentive in government. If any business ran like the government, it'd go broke.

Tucker, thank you for having your guests explain these Departments. Many of us (including myself) who need to know how each works & the chain of command. It's almost impossible to keep up with all the changes & because we never get the full description of these Departments, it's hard to understand all the muck. Most appreciated ❤
@gemmster142 ай бұрын
It's not meant to be understood - like Vought said, the policy is written vague for a reason, to allow for wiggle room. I've been a policy writer for DoD w/ the Undersecretaries of the military branches. Vought said the Trump admin. plans to reverse engineer these current policies, but I don't think that's the way to go. The DOGE should simultaneously revise each agency's Org chart & then each agency's policies with a fine tooth comb. Frankly, there needs to be hundreds of people (short term project people) to assist Ramaswamy & Musk on DOGE because this new task force has a inconceivably massive undertaking ahead of them and it needs to be done 100% right, not half-a*sed.
