While I agree the colonial powers didn't have much moral high ground, the deaths/famines were incidental.. Nazis are more evil because they INTENTIONALLY genocided people and actively pulled resources away from the war effort specifically to liquidate humans. That's absolutely worse than the allies. As a history buff I will happily get into the US genocide of natives, the horrors of UK colonialism, but it is objectively not as evil as the intentional Holocaust of millions. You can't really quantify human atrocities but I would not say it's comparable, and minimizing the horrors of the Holocaust because Churchill got people killed through apathy and imperial BS is kind of messed up

He just happened to find out about Tesla after test driving an electric concept car from another company, who connected him with Tesla. After finding out about Tesla, he became the largest shareholder and eventually managed to kick out the CEO and become CEO himself.

My Grandfather has been a slave in nazi work camp. My Grandmother had her 1st day of school on 1st of September 1939 - till her death she only could write in German, as the region she was from got instantly annexed and Germanised. My other grandparents were displaced to make room for a Ghetto. I grew up surrounded by plaques telling me how many people nazis executed in this very place - they were everywhere. I grew up walking around seeing 50 year old bullet holes in some preserved walls here and there. The only force that had this kind of destructive and anti-human, anti-life power was the Red Army. And we got both.

The took Opa off the streets to a slave camp just before my Mother was born, he escaped and spent months on the run, ended up at Dachau as it was liberated. Its also practical for the teachers for s bunch of reasons for them to start later than the rest of the school. Tho rare for that to even be Monday here, thats normally a pupil-free day for the staff to get the school ready.
