As an ex truck driver, i think the best effective protest would have been to stay at home. Don't collect or deliver anything. Claim you changed careers and are now doing something else. That way the country's economy would be starved / stop and the government would be left disarmed. What went wrong in Canada was the convoy. Had that not happened then what powers would they have been able to call up ? Next time, do it softly and you'll see real results. Cities like Ottawa couldn't cope for more than a week without supply, forcing the population of the city to protest themselves whilst the truckers enjoy some well deserved family time. Not only that, for the truckers, this form of protest ( parking up ) costs a lot less. Good luck next time.

Well, they did stop. Anyone who supported the convoy as a trucker was parked in Ottawa for three weeks, not trucking things. The problem with your plan is that most supporters were not truckers. Most truckers did not support the convoy, so there was not much effect on the delivery of goods. The partyhead narrative of what really happened is false.
