You don't want to turn the chainsaw off. Smoke works like a sedative to bees. That why Tucker was revving the chainsaw, to make the bees to sluggish to chase him.

I mean yeah, but running with a chainsaw is way more dangerous than running without a chainsaw. So. There's that.

The smell of smoke triggers an instinct for bees to draw up as much honey as they can in order to preserve it for the new hive, in case they have to abandon the current one due to a forest fire. There have been attempts to get a sequel off the ground for a long time, but so far nothing has happened. From what I've read Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine want to make absolute sure it'll be a worthy follow up, and they'd rather leave the original as a standalone than do something that's mediocre or just a retread. This is such a good double-feature with "Cabin in the Woods" since both are hilarious and play off that cabin and teenagers trope. Tucker & Dale (Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine) were also both in season 2 of the "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" series and they were great in that, too.

One of my all time favorite bromances. Tucker and Dale save Christmas. Dale plays a mall Santa. Ally is Mrs. Clauss. Tucker is an unhappy elf. Some robbers or terrorists kidnap Ally for some reason, probably by mistake. Tucker and Dale go to resue her. Ally gets out on her own but makes frients with a venezualen girl who is a victim of human trafficking. The human traffickers die to a bunch of gory but contrived reaaons. Tucker and Dale somehow get captured while trying to be heroes. Ally and Venezuelen girl some how get them out of the situation. Tucker has chemistry with venezelan girl. New romance. Ends on high note. Ive just written the movie

You're right about them being below the legal drinking age, at least Chad. Chad said that the Memorial Day Massacre happened 20 years ago exactly, but also said that it was before he was born, making him at most 19. So not only is he high from smoking during the campfire story, he's also a drunk teen with an axe. Him going insane was probably inevitable, since he seems emotionally unstable at the best of times.

Paranorman. Watch it. My headcanon is that Tucker and Dale vs Evil is the prequel to the game DUSK (2018). The first massacre that happened in the past was the result of early Jakob cultists first discovering the crystals of madness. Years later after Dale and Allison get married, they go on a trip to visit Tucker, but in the time that's passed since Jakob's cult has since grown too large and they want to expand. So they unleash the crystals of madness strategically this time to cause a massive riot that ends up getting both Allison and Tucker killed. Heartbroken and hopeless, Dale wanders over to the nearby town of Dusk and gets captured, leading to the events of DUSK's first Episode.

I actually am a bit of a psychopath though but my mode would make this story a non issue because I like to determine if things are threats before anything happens. it's so fun to find two people afraid of each other and turning it into a joke because I write the scary movie and I don't blame the monsters for hiding under my bed, they must have been terrified once they realized what was in the room with them 🤗🤪🤣 I love writing happy endings where I can because people always get so terrified when they realize the type of tragedy the real story they're in is.
