Man those wheels that the hoosiers are on are the perfect offset. They look incredible. The other wheels you have are too far up under the car. Just doesn't look right that way. New wheels are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Now u take a 1/4" tubing, l personal used brake line and tack weld it up on in side of lip, and it strengthens it very well and gives u that round edge so it never cuts tire, just an idea works very gd

those wheels are called Drag stars, not Pro stars. theyre basically equal to a Draglight or Rodlight from Weld, Pro stars are a 3 piece light weight forged wheel

oh thats right, but there were also the same exact wheels called Bob Glidden drag stars made by Cragar after thier partnership with Weld racing split. all the Ford guys called them drag stars

Keep that freshly cut lip painted up. It's gonna rub the tire and the paint will come off. It will rust, just know that it will rest. I'm sure your paint buddies will tell you. Keep it covered, somehow, otherwise good move.😊

5/8 reamer would be a better choice to open up those holes

A 5/8 reamer wouldn’t do anything. The shoulder on a the stud is 11/16. What happens is, when you the shank lug nuts it mushrooms the aluminum on the wheel so when you switch to a “5/8” stud wheel it doesn’t fit. The wheels come factory to fit the 11/16 shoulder of the 5/8 stud.
