I really enjoy your reviewing style, very comprehensive, educational and entertaining to watch. I tried on a 1926 at my local AD while shopping for a Tudor BB58. I ended up buying the BB58 (and love it), but I was impressed with the 1926. A clean design with an interesting dial. It offers an excellent way to get into the world of luxury watches (and the Tudor/Rolex family) at a reasonable price. I would definitely consider picking up a 36mm 1926 in the future - I am really into 36mm watches now, they are so much more comfortable to wear than my larger watches and 36 mm has been the classic "gentleman's size" for many decades.

I am totally with you enjoying smaller, thinner, dressier watches these days. I just picked up a 36.5mm Chopard that wears very similar to your Tudor. That size is a breath of fresh air on the wrist. The 1926 may be the cleanest dial you've reviewed, and for the money that's a really pleasant surprise. As always I enjoyed watching. Thank you.
@theknightswatch2 жыл бұрын
Once you see how comfortable the smaller watches are it’s hard to go back! You’ll have to send me a picture of that chopard, not a brand that’s ever on my radar but I’m consistently suprised by the pieces I end up seeing. Thanks for watching!

If they added lume to the hands, this watch would be perfect for me. Its pretty close already, I just bought one. Micro-adjust on the bracelet would be a bonus as well, but not a deal breaker. On the 2 tone models, I really think the crown should be gold.

The only complaint I have on it is the 38 the power reserve but then again I. Getting applied by the 70 hour reserve on other Tudors. All in all it’s winner at the price point IMO.

Yeah but most people don't go diving but that is a very popular style
@yoinkhaha2 жыл бұрын
@@mrbacchus6127 True, though if it's a diver you can securely swim with it, which is something people do care about, and also a timing bezel is suuuuper handy. Personally I find dress watch designs lose their interest for me more quickly than tool watches -- there just aren't as many aesthetic aspects on them to appreciate, usually. More stuff going on means more stuff to notice and appreciate when you happen to look at it. I always want to get a nice dress watch, but then I'm like, how much wrist time is this really going to get? I barely even ever wear blazers anymore much less a suit!

Definitely get where you are coming from, for me I just prefer dress watches even if im going to be wearing jeans for the day. They are usually more comfortable than sports watches and I like the subtlety. To each their own!
