Higher education in the United States is becoming more unaffordable for low-income and middle-class Americans. Students are drowning in student loan debt that is creating a crisis our country will have to face. It is time the United States provides Higher Education as a public good to all of its citizens through tuition-free public college.
Eduardo Moncada is a political science major and a student activist at the San Diego Mesa College. He has been working to push solutions to deal with the problem of college affordability and student loan debt.
