Thanks. Soni ji, for this beautiful upload of one of my favorite singers, Parvez Mehdi saab....I just love his soft and soothing voice ... A phenomenal ghazal, one of its kind, one can say, never heard before...A rare gem, the lyrics full of pathos, touch the core of our heart ..A nice start, with the soulful music and a lovely alaap by Parvez Mehdi ji, followed by a few couplets... Yaad karta hun, bhoolne ke liye, Ashq aate hain, par naheen rotaa...Khwaab mein wo na aa jaayein kabhii, Is liye raat bhar naheen sotaa.... Tujh se pahle jo, tamanna thi wohi hai ab tak...Tujhko paakar bhi kisi shai ki kami hai ab tak... Such a dramatic portrayal of these endearing lyrics by Parvez Mehdi Ji....Hamein jeena hai abhi, mit ne ke ilzaam naa do.. Humne kab baat tumhein dil ki kahi hai ab tak... The ending ash'aar are very heart touching....Kisko samjhaayen ke 'Ayub' , badii cheez thay hum...Ho gaye khaak magar, naam wohi hai ab tak.... The tabla played so beautifully enhanced the lyrics and the rendition.... The more I hear, Parvez Mehdi Ji, the more I am attracted to his divine voice and inimitable style of singing...His in-depth depiction of words, rendered with such perception, gave clarity to the meaningful and touching poetry of Ayub Romani ...Thankful to you, for sharing and giving us the pleasure of listening to such wonderful ghazals...Enjoyed immensely.
