I think someone should know the shipper who is responsible for her furniture and personal items she shipped. Someone in the States should go after that person to help her get her things back. Even to expose that shipper, so, it would not happen to others. It happened to me also, but thank God i got my container, but I had to use another shipper, after losing money with the first shipper, which I never got back. Some of her kenya friends in the U.S. should help her locate that shipper.

I think there is a part of the story she could have left out on the issue of the shipper. They don't just do that without reason. was there storage incurred or what? her story is very sad for sure, and it is a lesson to all of us that; when it comes to investing, always avoid promises of business that look too good to be true. Clearly, she could have been over trusting to people. very sad indeed.

Sad story of this lady and apparently, we still have Kenyans here talking of investing back home 😢 People who are in the US 🇺🇸 need to really learn from these stories. Most of them moved without the experience of hustling in Kenya , especially in Nairobi and given character development. I remember when I needed a 15k loan at equity, I had to buy some drinks to the teller, manager and shit!Registering a business is a headache, simple stuff like applying for a passport or DL you need to know people weuh!!!Typically, whatever this woman is talking about is very common in 🇰🇪. Lies, corruption, lack of systems that work etc I left the country & cannot return to invest or even do business there. US systems are straightforward and you can make your life much easier even with disability. I love my country Kenya 🇰🇪 but as a tourist. My money stays where I am. America 🇺🇸 is my home ❤

Rule 1. When you return to Africa, avoid any business you don't control 2. Avoid all forms of religious activities. If religion worked, Africa would be the best place on earth. 3. Unfortunately you are correct. A lot of us Africans are envious and jealous so keeping things to your chest works best. It is sad because I have worked with some Indians and these people will lend each other money with no paperwork involved. The cost of conning a family member or friend is so high they do not even think of it. I went to college with one Indian guy and he told me his relatives and friends were funding his education and everything was simply written down, no contracts and when he is finished he would start paying them off.

That's an interesting take on matters. If you are a Christian and a member of a Christian community/church, my only prayer is that God moves your heart to have a generous spirit. Also, the spirit of discernment because I totally understand where you are coming from. Many "pastors" out there take advantage of people that trust them but God will never be mocked. His justice shall prevail.
@cmartin59038 ай бұрын
Normally you give 10% and no more is required. When you read the bible, it says 10% which goes to the livelihood of the pastor. And you should know exactly how it will be spent. From an organized bible based Church, this is 💯 how it works. If they have projects then we decide to help of free will. Example : building a church, offering for reading materials, if we are doing something for the community, etc. And it is thoroughly discussed, the members have their input. ❤

Thanks Tuko for sharing this interview...she's lost everything but not her smile...In this world we may have many toeubles but the joy of knowing Jesus keeps us oiled to know there are better things ahead...the interview itself is a miracle to catapult her into new realms of establishment and realization of desires and dreams...Keep hope alive!

Listening to people...the moment she agreed to enter into politic...that was the first mistake. l wish she did her things minus people...but God is able to restore what is lost. Stay strong mom and hold on to Jesus.

This is really sad, trusting the wrong people cost her so much. Some people like to exploit those who don't have much knowledge, instead of protecting them. May God's justice come to those who hurt this dear lady 😢

What she is saying is true. Once my stepdaughter lost her grandmother, she came back for the funeral on South Africa. When she went back, they asked her what did they slaughter to feed all the people they saw at the videos, and she said some two lions and they believed.

I wanted to contest for the Gem Constituency seat, and had this idea since 2020 thereof. But I looked at how Kenyans vote, I gave up. Kenyans don't want change, they love eating what is there. Through this, Kenyan parliament is full of eaters, unfortunately they eat the citizens. In US, you don't need to know someone to get things done. One day, things will be better.
