Ask yourself if God asked you to fast for him We have to know the type of prayer we pray. My friend prayed that God fight her battle for her - "Father God, deal with this my husband, but do not take his life. Let him know there is God" Her prayers were answered. God dealt with him each time she reported him to God. He was really humbled
