Set the drag on your reel. You've got it tightened all the way down. That's why the line breaks. It's a screw - loosen it until it is really easy to pull line out. Tighten it a little bit so some effort is required to strip line out. But not much. It's okay if the fish runs out a bit of line. He gets tired, you reel him back in some, he runs again... That's how you land a big fish with little rig like that.

Love the video they're extremely entertaining to watch and it's like a 9 minute vacation. As far as fishing and I know how to fish the Bahamas quite well I would use a number to hook with 30 lb fluorocarbon leader. Now as far as bait conch is excellent because it stays on the hook and fish smell it so you can pick up a lot of Snappers and or grouper with not a terrible amount of effort. Fair Winds and following Seas....... Bravo Zulu!

You guys need to check out Key West Kayak Fishing. You could learn a lot from that guy. Couple things you might want to keep in mind is fish when the fish are feeding, usually morning and early evening and get the bait down to where the fish are. A block of chum wouldn't hurt, either. You know what they say though, "a bad day fishing is still better than a good day at work". Thanks for sharing.

what you can do is buy tournamnet chum and leave it sitting in the water for a while. you will attract ballyhoo, throw the net, and go trolling for mahi mahi with that bait

Don’t forget to acknowledge that Old Bay is from Maryland. Crab cakes in Maryland are not complete without Old Bay. We put it on chicken, steak, fish, even in salad dressing. I love how Sierra holds the casting net in her teeth while she is throwing it. That is the sign of true pro.

Try a little on a pot roast and use a slow cooker/crock pot. It was tasty! I have to admit that homemade seasoning cant be beat. Grew up on the eastern shore and we still have some left that my grandfather made. Anyways try the roast. Not to much, a light rub is al I needed.

I was a bear and entered Costco where I captured salmon. The salmon was trying to swim upstream but the packaging was hindering there progress. I bared my fangs to fellow Costco shoppers, cleared off a snack tray and lumbered for the exit. The game warden hit me with 3 tranquilizer darts and I woke up deep in the woods. Amen

Best is to get a four foot net straighten horn and brail line and load swing back and hold in other pinky the lead line and throw like a frisbee spin it and let pinky go last that gives full pancake instead of half moon the pinky released two seconds later is. Key good luck heavier the lead line the harder frisbee throw you do to open up JT

I usually hit it with a scotch bright pad like once every 3-4 weeks. Being anchored outside the harbor close to a cut is a big difference from inside a harbor where there are lots of nutrients in the water to help stuff grow...
