I struggle with pricing for wholesale (where other florists and growers buy to resell in their own bouquets) and pricing for consignment type situations (where I make and brand the bouquets but a store is selling them and wants profit) Any advice?

For wholesale, I think the best option is to look at the prices from a local wholesaler or if you have a co-op near you, look at their prices. Our co-op sells through the Rooted Farmer's platform- you could potentially peruse that platfrom to see what the going rate for wholesale is. There's is always the Boston Terminal Ornamental sheet and you can mark it up by 20% to give you a baseline. Regarding consignment, I always feel an 80/20% split is fair where you get 80%. This split is off of revenue so you'll want to make sure you price accordingly. At the end of the day, this is a great place for you to experiment by having a conversation with shops to see what they're looking for. Hope this helps!

I actually haven't grown bachelors buttons for 2 reasons - 1) They are a pain to harvest and 2) I never felt like I needed them for my bouquets, especially since I now force winter tuips :)
