What fun to watch her start to pull it all together on the cross country course. She started out a little discombobulated but you could see her gather her focus and really start to do her job with intent. I was thinking she will be incredible with a bit more muscle and a little more experience and you confirmed my thoughts in your monolog. Watched the Five Star...quite a few riders retired their horses, not completing the course, and almost all that finished had time faults. Not sure the reasoning behind designing a course that would eliminate more than half the field. There are fair challenges then there are punitive challenges. Certainly much respect to the riders that gracefully bowed out, to ride another day.
