😮 I made my own almost exactly like that. I like that idea better then taping the monitor or using metal straps to hold it in place like I've seen several people do. It's actually perfect it will support the extra weight of the monitor.

What would you recommend if using a Dell 2007FP 20incher? Throw it in without a bezel mount or trim it more? If you do trim it, what tool is best? Last one but do you put the plexi protector back in or leave it out?

@MadDadsGaming4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for checking the video out. If you noticed in the beginning I showed you the 3M tape I used to put on the front of the monitor, and on all sides of the monitor and then push the bezel down on the monitor. I had a monitor already done is why it looks like that in the video.

@@MadDadsGaming ok but how do you install the plexiglass to the bezel and monitor
@MadDadsGaming4 жыл бұрын
@@brianbuzby5347 It screws onto the bezel once you got it in place after pushing the bezel down on the monitor. You put the tape on the monitor first then get it at the right angle and then push the bezel down on the monitor. Then you use the 4 screws if you added them to your order to screw it on. The plexiglass has the holes already on it so you just make sure the plexiglass is setup right on the bezel and then screw it in. If you need more information please email me and I will give you my number.

I have yet to find a video on how to install the component plug-ins in the back of the dell monitor to whereever it goes. Can u please make a full video of installing every plugin because every single video on youtube regarding this only shows how to install the monitor into the arcade but doesn't show how to hook up the components from the monitor to whereever it goes. Thanx
@MadDadsGaming4 жыл бұрын
Well you have 2 connections in the back plus a power cable. If you ever setup a computer monitor there is no difference. If you are setting it up with a Pi...then you would need a DVI to HDMI cable. Then the power cable plugs in as normal. I put another link on this video in the description. If you play this video again...at the end you will see how I only have 2 cables coming out of the monitor which is the display cable and power cable. If you need more help just email me at maddadsgaming@gmail.com and we can exchange numbers if you like.

Curious about what you did to solve power for the monitor? I removed the black frame around my 19inch dell so I can attach the Tulsa bezel, but how do You get the monitor to power on automatically? I’ve been testing it and when I switch off the surge protector my monitor is plugged into, it kills it. When I turn the surge on, I have to press the button to turn on the monitor? Any way around that?

First of all thanks for watching the video and coming by the channel. Just make sure you turn the power on and keep it that way.
