In my lifetime I have never seen or heard of a former coach step in to coach a team the way Bob did. He deserves every accolade he has or will ever earn because of the man he is. I currently live in Iowa and get harassed (jokingly) by friends that are Iowa Hawkeye fans because I am a diehard SOONER fan. I remind them that the best thing that ever came out of Iowa University is Bob Stoops. BOOMER SOONER!!!!!!

LR is haunting OU...love it. Wait until SC makes OU its bitch again....55-19
@stoneangier90932 жыл бұрын
You’re a clown if you think that LR will make SC anything better than what he made OU. “Mecca of college football” lmao more like “Mecca of soft coaching and pure finesse”. Riley wins games on talent, not discipline and toughness. His coaching style was, is, and never will be good enough to win a national championship, and I feel sorry for anyone who thinks that’s going to be any different at SC

lmao but yet you are here because you know "OU" is headed up, you are hoping your interjections on this platform can some how stop it but you cant we win around here and we do it big. #BOOMER

Hey a loss is a loss we get it. But we are consistent USC isn’t. That one win makes you feel amazing. OU is humble in win and losses! We gets everyone’s best shot kid! Boomer

The worst mistake Texas & Oklahoma ever made was allowing A&M to leave the Big 12 and you can track their recruiting in the 2010's to show just that. They were at a Top 5/10 level until around 2010/2011 and they dropped off into the teens until LR came along and lifted them back up into the Top 10 on the strength of an elite offense. The top defensive recruits however, belonged to other schools. If Big Game Bob hadn't f'd up so much in the 2000's he might have been able to stop the bleeding but they had regressed into a good but no longer elite program. Even after Saban retires, he's built up so much equity that the next guy won't have to be legendary--he just needs to be good. Georgia is going to be elite for as long as Smart is there, and even if Fisher & Sark don't work out both schools have already proven they will go after big name HC's. Then you have LSU & Florida who aren't going away anytime soon and can lock down the majority of talent in their respective states. THEN you have a resurgent Miami who will be a major player just on their NIL alone. OU's best chance at surviving all of these was to maybe go Big Ten but of course they don't have the academics for that or even Pac 12 but they chose the conference who's in their backyard. I don't see how this will go well for them.

OU has been a dominant force in college football for decades. Going back 70 years. There has been a lot of conference shifting going on....conferences have died, started up and flourished in that 70 years. And you know what remains the same??? OU wins more than just about everyone. So go do some homework before you spout off a bunch of stuff you don't know. Nobody cares about LR anymore. He will be out at USC and he will underachieve just like he did here. His players are soft mentally and physically. He was handed the keys to a Cadillac and couldn't win the big one with it. I highly doubt he is able to build USC like you think he is. He may win in the weak Pac-12 but that doesn't mean he's going anywhere outside of that.

In the AP Poll Era no program has ever won more games than the University of Oklahoma,no team has ever put up more points than OU,no matter what challenge comes our way we will overcome it,cause the Dust Bowl couldn't destroy Oklahoma so you think some conference change will destroy OU,good luck with that

This guy should try his hand at stand up comedy, someone just goes on what he hears instead of doing homework and looking up a simple list of the best college football teams in history.
@coultergaske19992 жыл бұрын
Time out sir, you wanna check your facts? Texas was the one who caused A&M to leave because of the longhorn network, Oklahoma had nothing to do with that.
