Spaced was directed by Edgar Wright. Edgar had no creative control when it came to writing dialogue. Spaced was written by Simon and Jessica Stevenson. Debatably, it is the funniest thing the pair have ever come out with. Simon is funny on his own. He was a stand up before Spaced and all his other films and did big train and asylum: two of the funniest sitcoms at the time. The two are both funny.
