Tumkur is the gateway to north karnataka except mysore and kodagu, tumkur airport will be very near to sira, chitradurga, davanagere. Davanagere is 2.5 hours drive from tumkur. Devanahalli airport is 2 to 2.5 hours drive from tumkur itself. Tumkur airport will be at national highway location very convenient to all places of karnataka. Not in Davanagere because Tumkur is already having Vasantha Narasapura Industrial area most new factories and startup are at this area.

There is a MOU on existing Bangalore international airport, that, there should no be another international airport in the radious of 150km from existing BLR international airport.
