One of my favorite tunes. Would love to learn Beast of Burden. (I know a lot of people slam the tune, but I could listen to it over & over & over. Absolutely love the jam.)

That Howard was a fantastic lesson on how to a classic Stones song. Throwing in that little lead lick was cool. Yes Keith never really plays exactly the same stuff which is also my own style . Will be checking out your recent "For No One "lesson next . Love your way of playing piano songs on Guitar lessons. Thank you for your great videos

What kind of capo are you using? My string gets caught on that full step bend and hangs there. The bends on the B string, is the one I am talking about.

So Mr Hart, you may as well throw in a good lesson on Honky Tonk Women. I need someone to break that down in really clear chronological order. I believe I can play most of the parts but what happens when you compartmentalize a song structure, which I have to do to learn it, is that the exact order gets fuzzy unless it is really presented with that in mind. A lot of teachers on here start out a song that way but quickly evolve into jumping around, over talking it, etc I end up going "wait, what? I'm lost". I depend on you to keep the linear flow of the song actually linear so when I finish learning it, it is intact. The tab is also an excellent help.

Are you using Open G tuning?

Great lesson! But when bending with the capo, my strings always get stuck sharp! How do you avoid that? Thanks.

Good question! Not all capos are created equal... It's best to try a few different ones, just to see if it makes a difference.

One of my favorites as well. I love your lessons Howard. Keep them coming. BTW how are you getting that tone??
@247GuitarwithHowardHart2 жыл бұрын
Both pickups on the Tele... a pinch of distortion, and that's it really. Simple and straightforward.

Another good lesson! I appreciate you making these videos. Your tastes in music are very similar to mine, and Id venture to say we are from same generational era. The tab above really helps and you have a sincere, very clear teaching style that makes learning the songs a joy. Any possibility of some Who songs? Sparks, Long Live Rock, Substitute? Again, very appreciative of anything you put out.

Great lesson...thank you! Any suggestion on how to make sure that the G and B strings don't move/slide while under the capo while bending? I'm using a Shubb capo and I'm having a hard time keeping those two strings in place.
@247GuitarwithHowardHart2 жыл бұрын
It's very true! I had to do 3 or 4 takes before they stayed in place :-) Make the capo as tight as possible without causing too much 'string buzz' - I hope that helps
