Do you know if the painted bumper caps sit on-top of regular chrome bumper caps, or are they their own thing bolted onto the bumper? I tried looking, but cannot tell without taking things apart. Asking because I just picked up a used "Nightshade" Tundra with painted bumper caps on the front and rear. I am wondering if the "painted" caps are just a 3M on-top of chrome. Yes - I am a chrome originalist, haha. Only got the Nightshade because it was the right color, mileage, very clean, and the price was right.

Hi Rob, I have the exact same Truck as you. I dont agree with all the mods you said. 1, the side steps. I would rather go with. The N-Fab wheel to wheel. 3 steps. Especially for your double cab. As opposed to the CrewMax . They look more aggressive and pissed off. 2) would be the Line X. I had some light scratches in my bed after the first year. But I figured why do a line-x when I was going to go with a folding or retractable Bed Cover. So I would rather do that jump. Since it also protects your personal belongings. Also allows for more space on long trips, to where you can fit 5 people inside your truck and put all luggage in the back, even if its raining. If you get a low profile, with a matte black finish it looks great. Also improves Gas Mileage ( no brainer )

My 2020 plat came with the trd exhaust and all of the color matching - it came with a drop in liner though. And the black and chrome side step.

what is difference in front bumper caps with sensors that you took it to dealer for installation? I have ordered front caps from Sparks parts and thought it would be easy after watching your video for non sensor replacement.

When you have the sensors, the “cap” replaces the existing chrome pieces. A much more involved project be just sticking caps over the chrome pieces. I have a video of it on the channel.

For what you paid for your front and back end caps, grill, color coded bulge, ect it probably wouldve just been cheaper for you to pick up a trd sport and atleast gotten the front and back sway bar links and bilstein suspension for free 🤣
