Thanks for bringing back memories. Naava H'y'd' was about to marry my cousin Chanan; and my mother a'h', who had traveled to e'Y' to join in the simcha, went instead to a l'vaya. Some years later, when Chanan was engaged to his future wife, she couldn't bring herself to again travel; so I represented our immediate family, and you can imagine, it was a wedding like no other on so many levels....

Looking at my fathers theology books…..left xianity September 2020……I feel my great grandfather was Jewish but fully assimilated away from Judaism ✡️ in WW2……found thru ancestry , they hailed from Latvia …..my father I believe was Jewish but intermarried……not knowing he was….my parents marriage was a disaster from start to finish….my father died in xianity 2005. Sadly. I know I have a Jewish spark in an unkosher body. Studying for converting my only dream.
