Great video as always. What you're doing seems to be a highly efficient and accurate way to do this (which I am all about!). Do you run vocal align and auto align post before or after doing this? I have Melodyne 5 essential.

I typically run Vocal align on doubles and stacks BEFORE melodyne... But of course the lead vocals are the vocals to align to. Autoalign post is the last step in my process, as this is shifting everything to sample accurate phase alignment.

Melodyne Studio 5 is definetely one of my desert island plugins. I use it on bass, guitars, extracting midi and what not. I have whistled solos I could not get right on piano, and used melodyne to get the midi. There are loads of use for this, vocals is just one of them. I know that pro guitarists use it to correct their solos as well.

You possibly could, but you'd probably really F up the other vocals... They all have their own performance, you'd want to edit them depending on how they were performed for best results
