Thanks bro, I think you should go catless downpipe with dual res delete and keep your stock valved muffler. When valves are closed you won’t be able to tell it’s modified, when it’s open (most of the time) it’s essentially fully straight piped. That’s what my buddy did and it’s the best way to go.

My god this thing is crazy. I’m thinking of getting a catless DP as well but worried it’s too loud lmao. I still got my valves after muffler delete so comfort is somewhat quieter

If you still have valves, you have nothing to worry about. My friends 340i is catless straight pipe with valves, when they’re closed you would think it’s bone stock.

@@Tantrix1 Yeah gasoline does smell but only at stop signs and only for a few seconds, I do love it tho! Ethanol doesn’t smell nearly as potent and its slightly sweet smelling.

Automatic comfort mode is slightly droney, otherwise it’s completely manageable if you drive reasonably.

The smell is tolerable, but noticeable for a few moments at red lights and stop signs. Ethanol doesn’t smell nearly as much. If I had kids I would still do it.

I’m on KW Suspensions V1 coilovers. You couldn’t ask for a better kit for a tuned daily driven car. Exceptional quality, and as much ride customization as you’ll need short of taking it to the track to make times.

You can do a catless downpipe or keep it and go stage 1 with stock exhaust. You’ll get way more out of the first stretch and a better bang for your buck.
