How is the drone? I used to run an open dump from the turbo and as fun as it was my head was eventually going to explode from the drone. My broke ass doesnt want to get a full exhaust system and I already have downpipe and res delete. Im thinking of doing a muffler delete, what do you think?

Is it bad to drive your car with the muffler off and the mid pipe just hanging like that? Would it ruin the exhaust with no exhaust tips?

Just happened to me while idle at 102k miles on my 17 m240, I thought the turbo blew or something from the high pitched noise but thank god it’s just this. But now I’m dreading the day the turbo goes

Do you get insane drone and this crazy raspy sound at 2800-3000rpms while cruising?

Around 1200rpms with the way my exhaust piping is setup. Everyone’s is just a little different, at 2800-3000rpms it actually sounds so incredibly smooth.

I was using BM3 at the time, it wasn’t working well with my car and did not turn the light off as it should have. No actual mechanical problems.

Automatic comfort mode is slightly droney, otherwise it’s completely manageable if you drive reasonably.

My engine bay sounds way louder than your 😭😂 idk why but when i start accelerating i here this slight ticking at i speed up (not rod knock) but its bugs the hell outta me, its also my first bmw so im not sure. Bmw said it was okay but doesnt sound normal for some reason lol

@@XandrMotorsports honestly idk anymore, someone hit and ran me on the 15th and the insurance totaled the car out and i only had it for 2 1/2 months so now i have no more bmw and have to wait till this lawsuit clears up to see what i get out of it for me to use to get another bmw

@@crispycammm Ouch, I know the feeling.. If you were hit and they totaled it I can’t say but it probably shouldn’t be noticeably louder after a collision.
