Use just a few jewels from an OG. Cost of these engines are costly once popped 5k+2k labour. Use solely Shell gasoline due there lubrication within fuel to lube up fuel system and injectors. Other gasolines have a tendency to dry out injectors leading to injector failure. Once a month use 4oz of Lucas full injector cleaner to lube/decarbonize injectors. Change oil every 5k due the Direct injection diluting the oil( spun bearing). Cop a Chinese oil pan and have a oil baffle welded in. To keep oil constantly available to oil pump pick up. The way BMW designed this oil pan the oil drifts way from oil pump pick up, causing starvation . If you change oil pan do rod bearings added insurance. Bmw designed these engine to blow up purposely to make money for the g series edition. They put it in every F Chassis N55 Cam faster bolts back out causing catastrophic engine failure( had a quiet tcb) oil pan starve issue (look at s55 oil pan )big difference rod bearings softer material injectors failure due to carbon acclimation

Are you running your MHD in "Sport" for cooling? Sport mode is the best mode to use after tuning for street driving. Yo, invest in an Android Head Unit (I have the PEMP unit in my 2016), it modernizes the sh!t out of these cars.

Just gotta get a tune and it'll bypass the check engine and it won't have ur car running rich

Yea maybe reflash and it should go away, I had one at first but then the tune cleared it
