I've had my F10 M5 Competition for less than a year. Perfect condition since the last oil change, and i had BMW inspect it, and they found nothing wrong or leaking. I have almost 96k miles on the dash. My engine is forged with Pure Stage 1 turbos, VSRF intercoolers, SSP clutch pack, F90 HPFPs, meth injection if need be, Project Gamma Cold air intake and a full Akrapovic Exhaust. I recommend 5w40 Liqui Moly Molygen every 3500 miles and Forte Seal conditioner with every oil change. It's been the most reliable BMW I've had along with my Alpina B6 Gran Coupe.

@@michaelherrera3088 That’s sick man. Really nice setup! That’s the eventual plan for mine. I bet it sounds sick. For sure on the liquid molly and appreciate the recommendation on the seal condition. Definitely love the car and can’t wait to get the engine forged with some upgraded turbos like yours!

Very concise and straight to the point. Do you think it’s better to use that money or the side for maintenance and just upgrade to the F90?

@@Nudragoste thank you! Honestly, it’s probably worth upgrading to the F90 just because of the AWD alone and slightly better reliability. If they are too pricey, or AWD isn’t a big deal, nothing wrong with buying an F10 M5 and building it. (What I’m doing)

Had my 2015 m5 for over a year, MHD stag 2 e30, xHP trans tune stage 3, and dp. Love this car and its sounds, but I’m in the same dilemma now, set aside $25k and i love the chassis but i want and will need upgraded hpfp, interior…. And the cost to make the interior as nice as the f90 as well as to swap out some plug and play parts from the f90, is pretty pricey compared to just trading in or up to an f90 m5. From the looks of it though with all the research I’ve done, the AWD is the cherry on top that’s pushing me to the f90.

@@agamersimprint5658 Nice ride man! Yeah that’s the toughest dilemma and the AWD is the cherry on top for the F90. In the same boat as you.

I love the f10 chassis but the fact that the m5 isnt awd is an issue for me. Thats why im considering going for a 550i (N63TU) and pushing it to 600-700

@@eliteheocinx9719 Makes total sense and I think the biggest set back of the F10 M5 platform is lack of AWD. That would be sick! 🙌

The RWD drive only gives this car such a raw experience , thats honestly one of the best traits about the f10 M5 , you gotta be a driver and not just stomp your foot down and let the AWD do all the work, I drove my buddies competition yesterday and it was so much fun. Not to ruin your dreams but that N63 in the 550 especially after heavily mod it is gonna be a headache. If AWD is really important to you save up some more cash and get a f90 even the earlier years are really good cars.

My F10 M5 Competition has been garaged for 4 yrs with 10,000 miles on a CTEK however last week on start up it idled at 4,000 rpm and when selecting drive it shot up to the red line (8,000) it has over 86 faults from the OBD2. I'm seriously considering a diet of Semtex and fertiliser..

@@KingaaaNinja00 Thank you! Had 69k when I bought it- almost 79k now. 2013?Miles aren’t too bad just make sure it has all the maintenance history. Sounds like a nice ride! 🙌
