Surprised but not shocked they kept Aspinall. Bunting and Dobey were fairly obvious choices but I could have easily seen someone like Heta get in. De Decker got a raw deal, but I think we all saw that coming and if he can have a consistently strong 2025 he may be in the mix next year with the likes of Heta and Rydz.

PL is not a "league" as such but just a 16 week exhibition tour. Nothing more and nothing less. If you have to select players for their walk on song and not their results over the last year you're giving a wrong signal. De Decker 1st player who wins a major that was on Sky Sports who is not selected for the PL? I won't even spend a second watching the PL this year.

I know being in the premier league is all to do with how well you’ve done in the previous year and how catchy you’re walk on song is but I’d much rather see bunting replaced with chizzy and dobey replaced with de decker or even Evan’s at this point and aspinall replaced with ANYONE! Worst PL lineup ever. Matt Porter playing favorites yet again, shocker. Man loves himself some Aspinall. He should be embarrassed for trotting this nonsense out. Price made ZERO tv quarterfinals before the Worlds this year. Zero! And all Aspinall did was have a Masters semi appearance, the biggest joke of a tv major there is, and a QF run in the Worlds where he had the easiest QF route I have ever seen. Had to play a bunch of 80 averages... and then he gets beaten down by Littler and giggles about it all match. Dobey didn't do much all year either, was just a tv warrior that choked on tv every tourney. This is pathetic. And how Dimi got left out is the biggest joke. I don't care that he has low averages in floor events, who cares. He was the UK Open winner, Matchplay quarterfinalist, and Grand Prix semifinalist. De Decker also should have gotten in. Heck, I would have even taken Michael Smith or Gary over the others who got in, what a load of rubbish.
