Why would position 5 (performance) get you the most mpg? Did you have that backwards?

No that is correct. Honestly I’m not too sure why this happens but something about the fueling.

The higher level tunes advance the timing

Can you put your tune into the software if you want to edit your self?

I have a question. So I bought a truck that has the efi live 5pos switch on it with tunes. It didn’t come with a tune unit or a monitor. So could I buy a tune unit and then just edit the tunes myself or how does that all work?

Plug the monitor in and it gets all the info from obd2 by itself. Check out the efilive instructions so you don’t hurt your ecu stuff. If it’s a deleted truck you need specific tunes for that. Good luck

Does that little hand programmer have the OG stock tune in it?

The stock tune on it is still plus 20hp. You’d have to erase all tunes to get it back to stock

@@TheWeeklyStruggle my truck threw a U1601 code and I’m hoping that the stock file is saved on the programmer and i can rested and reinstall
