happy with my 555xp autotune…good screamer, and light too. pulls a 24” bar and chain without issues.

When you first start it its on high idle which is why the chain turns slowly, tap the throttle takes it off high idle. Lol but to each their own
@brokenpinesfarm2 жыл бұрын
You are right about the high idle on start but as you can see in the video the chain still turns after my cut while idling so it was definitely not on high idle at that time.

What I can see you turned the saw of right after the cut and didn’t allow to idle..🤔

got also a 572, even run a 36inch on it when needed

How does it handle it?

@@brokenpinesfarm pretty nice, next week i go try it on dry oak's, but think thats to much for the saw with a 36, and with that long bar she's a bit to heavy for all day cutting. it all got pro's and con's

@@sjekkie8299 good points! I'm trying to source a 28 or 32 light bar for this saw to make it more comfortable for all day cutting.
@sjekkie82992 жыл бұрын
@@ADayToLong you can modify it so you can run stihl light bars.

@@brokenpinesfarm did play with it on 45 ich dry oak with orgenon semi chissel chain on the 36inch bar (oregon powercut) , like butter, so life wood wil be no problem, maybe i tune it up on the carb to get more out, but my results say i dont need to make firewood, as logger i would just do mod it to get that little extra
@453421abcdefg1234511 ай бұрын
This is a crazy idea for something that is being used in the wood, with added vibration and load, what is wrong with a mixture screw, that is not going to go wrong for 10 years of use, the electronic chip will not survive for 5 years, if your cannot cut wood due to a slightly out of tune saw then just buy one with a bigger engine, my 565 will be going into the back of the barn, while I will find a sensible manual adjusted saw. Many thanks for pointing out these points, the dealers do not tell us about this.

Personally used the 572xp quite a bit and still running strong but you are correct that if the chip goes we are kinda stuck. Backup saw needs a good old screwdriver to adjust the carb!

Idk if thats how autotune works but 👍

I’m leery about Auto Tune saws. How hard it is to 1/4 turn a screw depending on time of year. I’m not rip cutting anything for 90 seconds. waste of a chains sharpness and it’s stupid
@brokenpinesfarm11 ай бұрын
I can certainly see your point of view but have to admit they work well and make it easy to start using chainsaws. I own both type, like em both for different things.

I only own every autotune saw they make though so idk

as far they always learned me,chains dont turn when in idle, and i know my 572 it never does let the chain move in idle.

This is totally stupid what he's talking about I've never even heard that from Husqvarna directly from Husqvarna not from a dealership from a representative they don't talk about none of that that would be in Husqvarna School he's nuts
@brokenpinesfarm10 ай бұрын
Maybe. It does seem to have woken up the saw though. Perhaps it simply let the saw do what it would normally do more quickly?
